Privacy policy

Last updated 15 October 2026

This policy explains what personal information Brindlewison, the operator of brindlewison.com, receives when you use the site, and what happens to it. Put simply, very little, and none of it is sold.

What we collect

We only receive personal information in three ways:

  • the details you write into the contact form (name, email address, message);
  • two localStorage entries kept in your own browser, one remembering your age check and one remembering that you've seen the storage note (see our cookie policy);
  • standard server logs kept by our hosting provider, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request, used for security and to keep the site running.

The localStorage entries stay on your device. They aren't sent to us and we can't read them.

What stays out of the notebook

There are no accounts on Brindlewison, so we hold no usernames or profiles. We don't take payments and never see payment data. We don't collect ID documents or passwords, and we never ask for any of these. If you send them anyway, we'll delete them.

The contact form

There are three fields on the form, for your name, email and message, and the only thing we use them for is writing back to you.

The form runs through FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), which sends your message on to our mailbox as an email. FormSubmit handles the message under its own privacy terms while passing it on.

We keep messages for up to 12 months, then delete them. We don't sell them, pass them on for marketing or use them in advertising. To have your message deleted sooner, email [email protected] from the address you used and tell us roughly when you wrote.

Keeping it safe

Form messages land in a mailbox used only for Brindlewison. We don't copy them into other systems, mailing lists or spreadsheets, and we don't combine them with anything else we know.

Server logs belong to our hosting provider, which decides how long they're kept. We only look at them to deal with faults or attempts to misuse the site, never to work out who a visitor is.

No method of sending or storing information online is perfectly secure, so please keep messages to what we need to help you.

Demo frames from Pragmatic Play

Each game page loads a demo slot from Pragmatic Play's server in a frame. Inside that frame, Pragmatic Play may set its own cookies or use its own browser storage, and it may process technical data such as your IP address and device details under its own privacy policy. We don't control or receive that data.

The frames only load after you confirm your age on the entry permit.

Nothing watching over your shoulder

Brindlewison doesn't run analytics software, advertising trackers, tracking pixels or social media widgets. We don't build profiles of visitors and we don't know which pages you read.

Your rights

Your personal information is handled in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Write to [email protected] and we'll respond as soon as we can. To check that a request really comes from you, we'll usually reply to the email address on the original message rather than a new one.

If you aren't happy with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

Children

Brindlewison is for adults aged 18 and over and isn't meant for anyone younger. We don't knowingly collect information from people under 18. If you think someone under 18 has sent us a message, let us know and we'll delete it.

Edits to this privacy policy

If the way the site handles information changes, we'll update this page and its "Last updated" line. Anything new we'd collect gets announced on this page before it starts.
