African Elephant

Habitat: dry savannah, the kind of country where you'd sit near a waterhole and wait to see who wanders in. Here the answer is rhinos, leopards, zebras and a few others, with the elephant moving through as the wild.

African Elephant opens for adults 18+ only. Choose "I'm 18 or older" on the entry permit and the demo loads in this box.

This frame holds Pragmatic Play's fun-mode build, loaded straight from the provider's server, and the credits in it are demo credits worth nothing; if it stays blank, a page reload or a different browser usually sorts it out.

Field observations

The grid is five reels wide and four rows deep. Rhinos, leopards, zebras and the rest of the herd make up the regular symbols, and matching animals across the grid form combinations.

The elephant is the wild. It stands in for every symbol except the scatter, so the scatter keeps its own job.

The part to watch happens on any spin. While the reels are still turning, a pattern can mark certain positions on the grid, and when everything stops those marked spots turn wild. It's a bit like seeing fresh tracks in the dust a moment before the animal itself walks out of the scrub.

Three scatters start a round of 10 free spins. During that round the pattern feature shows up more often than it does in the base game, so expect more of the grid to turn wild while it lasts.

The demo credits ticking over are fun-mode credits only, and a reload puts them back to the start.

On this savannah the credits are scenery. They hold no monetary value, they're never sold, and they can't be swapped, transferred or cashed out. No purchase is required at any stage, since nothing here is for sale. What runs in the frame is the provider's demo build of African Elephant, hosted on Pragmatic Play's servers, and we haven't altered it in any way.

Waiting for one more pattern to show is how a short look turns into a long one. Set yourself a stopping point before you start, and read our play smart page if stopping keeps getting harder.
